Terms & Conditions

Current service information and items requiring the operator's decision. Unresolved TODOs are not agreed contractual terms or a statement of legal compliance. Last reviewed: September 13, 2026.

These notices are currently provided in English. Contact us if you need help understanding them.

Repayment planning and money movement

The friends-and-family loan planner is a calculation tool. It does not make loans, transfer the initial funds, collect repayments or enable automatic bank withdrawals. Lenders send any original funds directly outside PactNest. A downloaded plan is a review worksheet, not a signed agreement or evidence that any money was paid.

Proposed interest and late fees require review under the laws that apply to the parties and transaction. The calculator does not verify legal eligibility or approve terms nationwide. Its displayed totals assume on-time payments and exclude contingent late fees.

The service and eligibility

PactNest is owned and operated by Heartwave Theory LLC, based in Dalton, Georgia 30720, United States. The service is currently offered only to users in the United States aged 18 or older.

PactNest lets a proposer upload a PDF, identify other signers, record signatures and download completed records. Its optional deal interview organizes answers into a reviewable summary; it is not a contract or legal completeness review. The app does not provide legal advice, government identity verification, notarization or a guarantee of enforceability.

TODO — operator confirmation needed: Finalize how service terms will be presented and accepted. Existing electronic consent applies to signing an agreement and must not be represented as acceptance of unapproved website terms.

Accounts and invitations

Senders use an email code to open an account. New recipients confirm access to the invited email address without creating a sender account. Each invited signer needs a separate email. Do not share codes or private invitation links. Before sending, the proposer confirms the recipient address and that the person expects the agreement.

Do not use the service for spam, harassment, impersonation, unauthorized disclosure or content you are not entitled to provide. Opening a proposal does not sign it; signing requires the separate review, consent and signature steps.

Documents and signing

A new proposal supports the proposer and up to nine recipients. PDFs can be up to 8 MB and 60 pages. The original PDF and signer roster lock when saved; corrections require a new proposal and new signatures. Participants should review every page and have authority to sign.

You are responsible for selecting the correct contract and checking its contents, completeness and recipients before submitting a proposal. When paid uploads launch, submitting the wrong document will not by itself qualify for a refund, except where required by law. PactNest does not check that an uploaded document is the one you intended to use.

Canceling a request or an unsigned member declining stops further signing and keeps earlier records. It does not rescind an existing agreement. Completed exports become available when all requested participants have signed. Keep your own copies; storage and recovery are not guaranteed indefinitely.

Some documents need witnesses, notarization, paper delivery or other formalities. The app does not determine whether your document qualifies for electronic execution.

Submitted content and intellectual property

The app stores and shares the content you submit as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not verify ownership of uploaded content or grant rights to another person's work. Revenue shares, ownership transfers, confidentiality and permissions between participants belong in their own agreement.

TODO — operator confirmation needed: Have counsel define the service's necessary content-processing permission, ownership terms, infringement-report process and rules for AI-assisted material. Do not assume an unlimited license to customer content.

Mutual termination

Either original signer can request termination of an agreement signed by all of its parties. Each original signer must separately review the termination terms and sign again; the agreement remains active until everyone approves. The displayed terms preserve amounts already owed, prior rights or claims and provisions that expressly survive termination. The original signed PDF remains unchanged, and the signing-record download contains the separate termination evidence. Download access lasts 30 days after final approval. At that deadline the agreement, signatures and signing records are scheduled for permanent deletion from PactNest and its managed backups. Keep any copies you need before the deadline. Cleanup runs every five minutes and retries service failures. No new termination email is sent.

Planned pricing — not available to purchase yet

Checkout, subscription billing and a payment provider are not yet configured in this app. The prices below describe the planned paid service; they do not enroll you or charge you. Sending a contract through PactNest does not collect amounts due under that contract.

Document storage: US$5 per month covers storage and access for all documents in one account. Contract uploads: a separate US$5 fee applies per contract upload; it is not included in the monthly storage price. Current PDF size and page limits still apply.

Free download access is planned for seven days after everyone requested has signed, with an optional storage subscription for continued access. Free downloads do not mean free contract uploads. The seven-day limit and subscription controls are not active.

For the future paid service, all sales are final, except where required by applicable law. See the Refund Policy for the full rule and processing time for approved refunds.

TODO — operator confirmation needed: Choose the payment provider and define the billable upload step, retries and failed-upload handling. Present the total charge and obtain purchase consent before billing. Build and test payment and access controls before offering paid services.

Planned subscription cancellation and downloads

When a storage subscription ends, customers will have one additional month to finish downloading their files. This is a planned download window; the subscription-end and access controls are not active yet.

Removing a document from PactNest, canceling a storage subscription and ending the agreement between its signers are different actions. Removal from this service would not itself terminate the underlying agreement or erase copies held by other participants. The download deadline does not establish an automatic deletion date.

TODO — operator confirmation needed: Define whether cancellation takes effect immediately or at the end of the paid period, missed-payment handling, the exact download deadline and reminders, access for other signers, and deletion/preservation procedures. Publish these details before paid services launch.

Liability, disputes and changes

The app's access checks and signing record help document activity; they do not establish who a person is beyond the stated verification method or guarantee a legal outcome.

TODO — operator confirmation needed: Qualified counsel should review liability, warranties, consumer protections, disputes, governing law, termination, change notices and terms acceptance. No liability cap, arbitration clause or waiver is invented here.
